CRYPT TACTICS

Your Turn

• Click a hero to select it. Blue tiles = where it can move.
• Each hero may move and then take one action: Attack, an Ability, Overwatch, a terrain action, an Item, or Wait.
• Hover an enemy with a hero selected: full battle forecast, your damage and their counter, both ways.
• Survivors of a basic attack counter for half damage if the attacker is in their range. Trades are decisions now.
• Ranged heroes can hold Overwatch: a free shot at the first enemy that moves into range on the enemy turn.

Terrain

• Walls and tombs block movement and line of sight.
• Push sarcophagi for cover, or crush what hides behind.
• Smash cracked tombs to open shortcuts and firing lines.
• Ignite braziers: a blast, then the floor burns all battle.
• Pray at shrines (once): full heal and +1 ATK.
• Hazard tiles damage anything that steps in. Flyers cross safely.

Growth & Loot

• Each victory levels every hero: choose between two skill branches, every level is a new ability or passive.
• Gear drops from chests and elites mid-mission. Walk onto it to take it. Two slots: weapon + trinket. Swap at camp.
• Elites (purple glow) buff nearby foes (+1 ATK), hold overwatch, and always drop their treasure.

Enemy Turn

• Enemies telegraph their intent: hover one to see who it's hunting; ⚠ marks hunted heroes.
• Enemies focus the wounded; archers keep distance; ghosts drift through walls; mages will shoot braziers your squad crowds.

Between Missions

• Camp: level up, equip gear, shop, and replay missions for stars: win, under par, clean run.
• Fallen heroes return at half HP, unless Hard Mode is on, where death is forever.
• Press ? in battle to reopen this panel any time.
