How to Play

Your Turn

Click a hero to select it. Blue tiles = where it can move.
Each hero may move and then take one action: Attack, a class Ability, an Item, or Wait.
Undo takes back a move (until you act).
Abilities have cooldowns, shown on their buttons.
End your turn with End Turn (or hotkey E).

Terrain

Tombs, pillars and walls block movement and line of sight for ranged attacks and spells.
Hazard tiles (undead flame, lava) damage any unit that steps on them. Gargoyles fly over them safely.

Tactics

Hover an enemy to see its stats and full threat range.
Rogue's Backstab does double damage from behind a target.
Paladin's Guard taunts nearby enemies into attacking him.
Wizard's Fireball burns a 3x3 area — including your own heroes. Aim carefully.
Enemies focus wounded heroes; archers keep their distance; ghosts drift straight through walls.

Between Missions

Heroes heal, level up (pick a stat) and you may buy items.
Fallen heroes return at half HP — unless Hard Mode is on, where death is forever.
